Score for the Poor is a quiz night hosted by International Care Ministries to support its feeding program for malnourished children. Within the communities ICM serves about 12% of all children are malnourished meaning they do not receive enough food to grow at a normal and healthy rate. Children who are identified as severely malnourished are enrolled in our Home Based Feeding (HBF) program. Every day these children receive special nutripack meals until they reach a healthy weight. ICM also educates and equips parents to fight malnutrition by teaching them the importance of good nutrition, especially during the first five years of a child’s development. Funds raised from this event will provide food for at-risk children fighting this life-threatening problem, and HK$50,000 will allow 250 children to receive the food and support needed to reach a healthy weight.

At ICM, we believe that no one should live in abject poverty. With the right support, the right training, and the right resources, the bondages of poverty can be broken.
In the last few years, ICM's community-based, holistic solutions have reached more than 750,000 people living in poverty - building resilience and greater well-being in families and whole communities across the Visayas and Mindanao. This wide impact is possible through a strategy of partnering with the local churches found in most low-income Philippine communities, inspiring hope and providing help to transform lives.
After our four-month Transform program, ICM's ultrapoor participant experiences:
- 106% increase in household income
- 43% increase in self-worth
- 28% decrease in serious illnesses
